Why does my Performance Analytics dashboard show all zero values on the default dashboard?

You may encounter a situation where your dashboard is displaying all zeros and no results:

The most common cause for seeing zeros or expired results across all metrics in your dashboard is that you switched between different apps and have existing tabs open with another app. Performance Analytics supports browsing a single app at a time.

To fix the issue:

  • Close other open tabs or windows and force a full refresh.
  • Clear the App name filter and click Run to force a new query to run.
  • Delete the cookies associated with analyze.airship.com and then refresh the page. See below for how to do this in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Delete Cookies on Chrome:

  1. Go to the Chrome menu icon on the browser toolbar at the top right. This icon is a box with three vertical dots. Next click on Settings.
  2. Type cookies in the search bar:

Another reason that could be the source for this behavior would be if you don't have the mobile channel set up.
Indeed, our default Dashboards will display the data based on the mobile channel.
If you want to display data for the other channel, you'll need to create custom reports.
To do so, click on the folder icon, select the shared folder and click on Explore Glossary (if you are on the US datacenter) or Explore Glossary EUCS (if you are on the EU datacenter).

For displaying active users on the the web channel, select the Device Events report.
For the email channel, select the Custom Events report.
