"Apple Push Services" certificate is not being recognised by Urban Airship

Recently Apple updated their Push Notifications service and changed the name of the Production APNS certificate
https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=12172015b
But this new production certificate seems to  be  not recognised by Urban Airship anymore.
On uploading p12 I am getting error "Sorry, there were some errors".
Could you please fix that?

  • Hi Raphael,

At the current time we recommend using a certificate specific to your app's environment--a development certificate for a dev app and a production certificate for a prod app--rather than Apple's new APNs certificate type.

Please see this Knowledge Base article for more information on how to upload the correct certificate:

About the new Apple Push Notification service SSL (Sandbox & Production) certificate. -- edited: this link is out of date, please see comment below.

    I hope this helps!

  • Hi, I am also having this issue, as I can no longer obtain a Production only certificate.   The link provided simply tells me 'You do not have access to this topic.'   How can I obtain access to these instructions?

  • Sorry that the above link is no longer working; please see our documentation that explains how to Get your Certificate from Apple, which now contains the updated information.
