Push Notification for Wordpress Page Update

Using the Urban Airship Web Push Notification plugin for Wordpress, I want to be able to give my users the ability to be notified when my page has been updated with new inventory.

The page inventory is updated automatically with a feed. I noticed that the push notification plugin will push on the page update but to do that I would need to go in manually every day to re-publish the page.

So would I have to set up a cron job that automatically re-publishes the page before the push notification is sent out again?

I appreciate any insights you can give me.

    Hey Randy,

    A cron job would be one way to do it, but it might be possible using Custom Events, depending on how your feed is integrated into the page. You can find the class details and example here. And if you'd like, send me a link to the page in question I'll take a look.
