iOS push notifications for website

Hi

I am wondering whether I can send push notifications for iOS using urban Airship without having an app. I read a comment on stackoverflow where someone said it was possible. I have a website and do browser push alerts right now but obviously they don't work on iOS.

    Hi Nicholas,

    Unfortunately at this time, you do require an app within Urban Airship to be able to send push notifications.

    There are plans in the future to support push notifications without an app, so stay tuned to our blog for more info.
