Manually register token with UAirShip

Hey All!

So I'm on the latest version of the SDK and using Xcode 10. 

I need to find a way to manually send the push token to the SDK. So far I've discovered UAConfig's attribute "isAutomaticSetupEnabled" which I've set to false. 

However I did not come across a way to send the device token myself. 

Any leads on this would be appreciated - Thanks!

    This is Mikey with Urban Airship. Thanks for your post inquiring about manually sending Device Tokens to the Urban Airship SDK.

     

    Device Tokens are generated by Apple and are subject to change periodically making them unreliable as a primary address for sending pushes to devices. Urban Airship has developed an alternative method to identify addressable devices that involve the SDK.

     

    When the SDK registers, it creates a Channel ID that is more static and will identify when the Device Token changes. You can follow the guide below to learn more about setting up the SDK below:
