Safari - Web push notification

I've followed the instructions for Safari (web push notifications) but see the following js error when visiting the page:

"Unhandled Promise Rejection: Push notification prompting can only be done from a user gesture."

All works fine with Chome and Firefox.

Any ideas ?

    Hi David,

    Apologies for the delay. 

    Safari requires the browser opt-in prompt to be trigger by user interaction, and cannot be initiated programmatically without the user clicking a button or a similar action. 

    Is your site set up to automatically present this prompt?
