sending in app messages with composer

Hi,

I`m trying to send an in app message to my app (without a push notification) and in your guide : http://docs.urbanairship.com/topic-guides/iam-quickstart.html, shows a check box with the title "Send In-App Only" that needs to be checked. I can`t find it in the message composer.

could this be a feature in the legacy message center (I never got to work with it)? where can i find it in the new message center ?

thanks in advance,

Dave

  • me again,

reading more about the new message center, it seems that this screen:

is supposed to show when creating a new message, but when I create a new message, and go to the "content" screen, it is already set for a push notification, and no place I can see to choose message type.

  • Hello Dave,

It looks like in-app messaging hasn't been turned on for your account. If you log into your dashboard account and modify the end of the url from 'engage' to 'config', you will be able to see all the configurations for your app. You can turn on in-app messaging from there. Please note that you need to be on SDK 6.0+ in order for in-app messaging to work.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
    Jenn Miller
